Global Research Led by Local Expertise

Ethos

NEC’s global and local research efforts are designed to directly respond to current and future customer needs, while taking revolutionary leaps forward. An excellent example of this ethos in practice is the creation of the Carbon Nanotube, a crystallised structure of carbon. The benefits of this break through include reductions in the consumption of expensive platinum catalysts and increased battery output. This breakthrough exemplifies NEC R&D's approach toward technology and the future – and a “relentless pursuit of the truth."

Local research, development & support

NEC draws on its extensive local expertise as an equipment manufacturer to deliver quality solutions. At our Research and Development plant in Mulgrave, Victoria, we have dedicated labs and staff constantly researching new technologies and theories to better serve our customers.
